Find an object of your choice to draw to use as your subject for both a contour drawing and a gesture drawing. Look back to the slides above as needed. Remember that the contour drawing in this case should not be drawn blind. Do your best to carefully render the inner and outer edges of your object. For your gesture drawing, let go of the idea that the image be perfect (or even visually accurate) and focus on expressively capturing the dynamic energy of your object.
